Who is JON|O?

I am Jonathan W. H. Norville, known affectionately as JON|O. I am a poet and author-illustrator from Miami, Florida, but more importantly, I am a husband, a father, and an elementary educator. My career is dedicated to creating children’s books for the adults my readers will eventually become.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Florida A&M University, I approach storytelling from a unique perspective—simplifying complex life lessons into imaginative poetic journeys. I’ve spent years working with diverse youth across the nation, listening to their hearts and stories. My books are my gifts back to these communities and the generations to follow.
